Dr Dana Klas

BSc (Clin. Sc), MHSc (Osteo)

Dana has been passionate about Osteopathy since beginning her studies in 2005. With a strong commitment to finding health and a true believer in the body’s natural intelligence, she is dedicated to supporting the well-being of others and alleviating suffering through informed, compassionate care.

A lifelong learner, Dana has developed a special interest in pre- and post-natal care, paediatric osteopathy, and pelvic health. She finds great purpose in supporting women and children through key life transitions, offering gentle, tailored care that meets a person’s evolving needs.

Dana completed her osteopathic training at Victoria University and became fascinated by cranial and indirect osteopathic techniques. When she experienced her first biodynamic osteopathic treatment in 2011, she was driven to understand more. She completed her biodynamic training over 10 years, taking courses in Australia and the USA. Over that time Dana also undertook training in Visceral Osteopathy (treatment of organs) and Neonatal Primitive reflex integration.

As a mother of two vibrant young children, Dana has a deep personal understanding of pregnancy, birth, and post-partum recovery. Her own experience of natural, physiological childbirth shapes her commitment to empowering women with confidence, clarity, and continuity of care. She feels privileged to have supported women during labour and regularly collaborates with midwives, doulas, and other health professionals to ensure well-rounded support throughout the perinatal journey.

In addition to working with women, babies, and children, Dana supports people with chronic pelvic pain and postural imbalances. She has extensive training in both external and internal techniques.

Dana is known for creating a calm, respectful, and grounding treatment space. Her work is guided by the belief that health is always present and accessible, even in times of strain. Through a life-long curiosity of her own body, and experience in meditation, yoga, qigong and bodyweight workouts, Dana encourages and teaches patients to connect, explore and understand their own tensions and habits to create positive change.

Outside of the treatment room, Dana finds joy in the quiet routines of daily life. She enjoys baking, gardening, playing the trumpet, turning the playground into an obstacle course with her children, and spending time outdoors observing nature. These simple pleasures help her stay connected, present, and inspired – qualities she brings into her work every day.
